REVISION TO MASK POLICY AND COVID-19 PROTOCOLS BEGINNING March 7, 2022
Indiana's COVID-19 numbers have taken a welcome plunge over the last few weeks. In a move consistent with the updated Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) COVID-19 mask guidelines, NWIHRC will end our almost 2-year-old mask mandate for fully vaccinated persons, effective Monday, March 7, 2022.
Fully vaccinated visitors and devotees will no longer be required to wear masks unless it's their own personal preference for safety reasons.
Unvaccinated persons and those who are not yet fully vaccinated (meaning 14 days have passed since the last booster dose of the vaccination) are still required to wear a face mask.
However, enforcement of the mask mandate will rely on the honor system, trusting individuals who don't wear a mask or remove their masks only if fully vaccinated.
Let's all be responsible citizens and fulfil our civic duty.
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE TEMPLE, MULTI PURPOSE ROOM or IACC BANQUET HALL IF YOU :
– Have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19
– Have recently traveled to a high risk country in the past one week
– Have any cold/flu/fever symptoms or if you are not feeling well
We are a faith-based organization, so, I have faith and hope that all devotees and visitors will self-abide by this strict honor code.
